A collaboration with The Big Group, the 2013 Lexus Design Pavilion is shaped across three working levels, where strong graphic gestures are tempered by quiet references to key Japanese motifs: paper, timber and ceramics. The boldness of the brand holds alongside the restraint of its cultural reference points, allowing each level of the pavilion to carry its own register while remaining part of a single, considered visitor journey from arrival through to a quiet departure.
