Drawing on the heritage of Old Shanghai, David's breathes new life into the existing warehouse building on the corner. The design leans into honesty, simplicity and a sense of the domestic, referencing traditional Chinese elements through a contemporary, considered lens. Timber, plaster and softened lighting frame the dining experience with a quiet hospitality, while moments of curated detail invite the diner deeper into the room and the story of place, ritual and shared table it carries forward.
