The StandardX is a collaborative response marrying the core brand ideas of The Standard with Hecker Guthrie's own considered explorations as a local designer, set in the context of a Fitzroy neighbourhood hotel. Working closely with both the local and international Standard teams, the result is a design hotel grounded in its locale while resonating across the broader portfolio. The brand's confident global register holds alongside the quiet specifics of inner-Melbourne street life across the project.
