Housed within the former Black Eagle Hotel on Lonsdale Street, one of Melbourne's last surviving pre-gold-rush buildings, Patricia's long-awaited second venue reads as a house party in three rooms. The espresso bar, an extroverted kitchen, opens to the street; next door, the brew bar keeps a quieter pace as a wonder room of curated objects. A light touch reveals the original fabric, allowing the new to sit quietly within the old.
