Hyatt Centric celebrates the essence of Melbourne as both a city and destination. Hecker Guthrie has designed a Melbourne-made series of spaces, where local design, fashion, food and product are showcased as a teaser of the city's offerings. References to the city's notable grid, tessellated tile and Victorian-era brickwork give the rooms a quietly artisanal presence, holding the guest within a layered, contemporary expression of place that rewards both the visitor and the regular return.
