The brief was to balance Edwardian heritage with a sympathetic, considered contemporary extension, settling into a more timeless design outcome. The original detailing is heightened through rich colour and deep texture, while the new addition carries a quiet freshness, a calmness that flows through the family home. The two registers hold in easy conversation, allowing the heritage rooms and the contemporary spaces to read as a single, considered whole built for daily family life with ease.
